For anyone interested in joining the team at the Western Footlocker Regional Cross Country Race here are the details :)
This trip has been a great tradition of Lehi Cross Country. It is a great opportunity to race athletes from across the west but also a great team bonding opportunity:) We will leave Thursday morning (Dec. 4th) and return home Sunday night (Dec. 7th). The race is at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, California.
Basic Itinerary:
Thursday- Travel to California
Friday- Pre-meet at the course/check in for race
Saturday- Race in the morning and then team activity at the beach that afternoon
Sunday- Return home
The cost for the trip is $180 and will be payed to the financial office. The cost is to cover travel and hotel. Athletes will also be responsible for registering themselves for the race. Right now it is only $15 to register for the race, but in 2 weeks the price will go up to $35!
