Footlocker & Team Awards Banquet
Hello Parents and Team,
The Footlocker meet was a huge success. Not only did the team run exceptionally well, but the we had a great team building experience. Also, we have been able to stay in great shape which will carry over to track season. For me, it was great to see the senior boys run so well and get that bad feeling of the Region race behind them. A lot of runners had PRs and that is awesome due to the difficulty of the course - those hills were nuts, but I felt like everyone ran smart and survived the hills and killed the downhill. Here are some of the highlights of the trip:
Nicole Scharman - 15th in Fresh/Soph Race (7th among Freshman)
Braden Smith - 45th in the Junior Race
Brad Barton - 10th in the Senior Race
Ty Skousen - 11th in the Senior Race
Davis Crabb - 21st in the Senior Race
Jackie Heaps - 27th in the Seeded Race (Which would have got her 1st in the Fresh/Soph and 1st in the Fresh/Soph All-West Race)
Kenzie Draper - 74th in the Seeded Race (3rd in Fresh/Soph, and 10th in All-West Race)
Emily Allen - 111th in Seeded Race (20th in Junior Race)
More Highlights:
Mary yelling "Shark!!!" when it was only some dolphins
Logan can fit into a duffle bag
Halea...Rootbeer
Shopping cart races
Davis catching on fire...almost
Our beloved bus driver
and much much more
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE TEAM BANQUET IS DECEMBER 16TH AT 6PM IN THE COMMONS.
*$10 for each athlete, parents are invited with no additional cost
*Dress is Nice/Casual
